Why Do We Need Goals?
Goals provide direction, motivation, focus, identify opportunities, foster personal growth, combat procrastination, and help tap into your full potential. Setting goals is a personal choice; find what keeps you engaged and motivated.
Setting SMART Goals:
Use SMART goals - Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-based. Example: "Daily movement for increased energy." Start small for consistent wins and build on success.
Developing the Right Mindset:
Henry Ford's quote: "Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right." Positive self-talk is crucial. Flip limiting beliefs to limitless beliefs. Challenge negative thoughts; change "I can't" to "I will."
Creating Small Habits:
Intentionality comes through daily habits. For challenging days, schedule activities. Be intentional about your goals; use habits to stay on track.
Reflecting on Progress:
Reflect on what went well and areas for improvement.
